A challenging and very visually pleasing project to work on, this established my first commercial experience building a project with React, diving right into the deep end of implementing Redux and making best use of the D3 data visual library.

At Interstate a lot of my coworkers had the pleasure of working close with the Nio Formula E team which meant that they’re always on their feet; the fitness dashboard was an idea to compare and contrast each of the team’s stats throughout the Formula-E season and display the almost real time data on their office information displays.

Oyster Yachts needed a central hub which managed several different sectors of their business. My role was to work with and advise UX / UI designers and backend developers to deliver a frontend which was both premium and functional.

Electric race car driving is very much about precision and the tracking of all technical aspects of a vehicle and that doesn’t stop once a race begins. Engineers within Formula-E work with a live video feed of data which lists current racing stats, but suffers from a few seconds delay and uses a convoluted data display.

After being granted access to the live data feed - provided via RabbitMQ messaging service, we tasked ourselves at Interstate to come up with a solution which meant that the engineers could access data through a tablet to as close to real time as possible as well being able to present the data they needed in a manner which could aid them in their work.
